Canadian Bass Trevor Eliot Bowes studied at the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland before being selected as one of Barbara Hannigan's Equilibrium Young Artists.  Recent appearances include his critically acclaimed Dick Deadeye / HMS Pinafore at English National Opera, Collatinus / The Rape of Lucretia with English Touring Opera, Argenio / Imeneo with the Cambridge Handel Opera Company and Basilio / Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Longborough Festival Opera as well as the Grand Opera House, Belfast.  Recent concert highlights include Brahms' Vier Ernste Gesänge (Detlev Glanert's orchestration) with the Bridgewater Sinfonia, Verdi's Requiem at Canterbury Cathedral, Zoroastro in Handel's Orlando at Ludwigsburg Schlossfestspiele with Les Musiciens du Louvre. 

Trevor has performed Handel's extraordinary bass role, Polifemo / Aci, Galatea e Polifemo with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Valletta Baroque Festival and Early Music of the Islands, Canada. Other operatic highlights include his Royal Opera Covent Garden debut as Odin / Monstrous Child (Gavin Higgins), Bartolo / Le Nozze di Figaro with The Mozartists, Colline / La Bohème and Seneca / L'Incoronazione di Poppea with English Touring Opera, Alidoro / La Cenerentola at Nevill Holt Opera, Sergeant of Police / The Pirates of Penzance at Opera Holland Park and Talbot / Maria Stuarda at Opera North opposite Dame Sarah Connolly.

Concert appearances have included Mozart's Requiem with The Hallé and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with Sir Andrew Davis, Purcell Odes with the OAE and Laurence Cummings, Handel's Nisi Dominus and Dixit Dominus with Les Musiciens du Louvre and Marc Minkowski and Haydn's Missa in Tempori Belli with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski. He has also sung Handel's Messiah, Bach's Passions, Elgar's Dream of Gerontius, Verdi's Requiem, Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, Tippett's A Child of Our Time, Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Rachmaninoff's The Bells with choirs and orchestras across the UK.

Upcoming appearances include Handwerksbursch / Wozzeck at La Monnaie, Dottore Grenvil / La Traviata at ENO and Sarastro / Die Zauberflöte at Pacific Opera Victoria. Trevor is thrilled to be making his debut at Drottningholms Slottsteater.
